The Canadian Gynecology Institute of Chinese Medicine is pleased to be offering a Sunday afternoon workshop series in February, March and April this winter.

The workshop series is open to the general public to introduce and demystify some aspects of Chinese Medicine. We offer the workshop series as an expression of appreciation to our patients.

Having an understanding of Chinese Medicine principles can benefit patients. In addition to the support of treatments, they can make informed lifestyle decisions that can relieve stress and improve their balance and health. Participants do not need to be patients with the clinic to come to a workshop. Everyone is welcome.

The suggested fee is $15 per person; however, no one will be turned away for inability to pay. A “Pay What You Can” (PWYC) option is open to those who need it.

All workshops will be held at our “TCM Woman Clinic” at 1061 Eglinton Ave West. The clinic is west of Bathurst, just two short blocks east of the Eglinton West Subway Station (note that due to construction we recommend parking on the side streets in the area, and for those coming by subway, to cross to the south side of Eglinton first before walking east to 1061).

Participants are welcome to the entire workshop series, or just to come to one or two.

The dates and times are as follows:

Sunday February 19th – 3-5pm – Introduction to Chinese Herbs with Zuocheng Wang, R.TCMP, PhD
Sunday March 26th – 3-5pm – Balance – Yin/Yang theory in life with Dawn Aarons, Tai Chi Instructor
Sunday April 2nd – noon-2pm – Chinese Medicated Diet: Ancient Gems for Healthy Nutrition with Jessice Rea, R.TCMP

Pre-Registration is not required; however, please do let us know if you are planning to come by emailing us at info@cgicm.ca or calling 416-644-1937.

If you are a professional looking for Continuting Professional Development, we can offer 2 CPD’s per workshop for R.Ac and R.TCMP’s.
